It’s not been so long since the launch of Nokia Android series Smartphones took place at Mobile World Congress. And someone has rooted the recently launched Android device. Hitherto, Nokia X runs a forked edition of Android that doesn’t allow users to get applications via Google Play Store or even can’t use the Google Now Personal Assistant.

Nokia XA user named Kashamalaga somehow managed to get these Google Services working on Nokia X. The user has also posted the how to boot guide. So, if you are among the one’s who got the Nokia X at Mobile World Congress or if you are having interest in how it works you can check out the video attached with the story.

The starters, you have to root the handset. Kashamalaga recommended users to use the Gandalf exploit in the Framaroot app. After this, you will require the Root Explorer app.

Then, the next step to be followed is to extract & copy all the apks, and then you have to modify the permissions and change it, after that reboot. Following this action you need to extract & install each apk in the applicable .zip file. Now, you can launch the Play Store that will ask you to sign in with your very own Google Account and there you go. It’s done.

The Nokia’s X range with Android system came into being after the firm was bought by the Microsoft. The Microsoft will be using the Nokia hardware to push the Windows Phone OS.
